1. Scope and Applicability
This Cancellation and Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all services provided by Taabow Travels Pvt. Ltd. (“Tripate.com” or “Company”), including visa facilitation services and tour package bookings. By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Policy.
2. General Conditions

No Guaranteed Refunds: All bookings are non-refundable by default unless explicitly stated.

Changes to Policy: We reserve the right to amend this Policy at any time.

Communication: All cancellations must be made in writing (email).

Refund Method: Refunds, if applicable, will be made to the original payment method only.

Refund Processing Time: Refunds typically process within 15 working days, bank delays are beyond our control.

Partial Use/No-Show: No refunds for unutilized/partially utilized services or no-shows.
3. Visa Services – Cancellation & Refund Policy

Visa Service Fees: Strictly non-refundable once processing has started, including if you change your mind.

Embassy/Consular Fees: Non-refundable under all circumstances if paid or if the visa is rejected/delayed.

Cancellation Before Submission: Partial refunds may be considered only if embassy fees are unpaid, with service fees retained.

No Refund After Submission: Once submitted to the embassy/center, no refunds will be provided.

Visa Denial/Unable to Travel: No refund if your visa is denied or you fail to travel.

Company Inability to Process: If we cannot process your visa due to internal reasons, a full refund will be provided.
4. Tour Packages – Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Booking and Payment Terms

Booking Deposit: Required for booking confirmation and is non-refundable.

Full Payment: Must be made before departure, failure to pay may be treated as cancellation with applicable charges.
4.2 Cancellation by Customer

Refunds depend on how early cancellation is made.

Closer to departure, higher the penalty (up to 100% forfeiture).

Typical Structure:

45+ days: Deposit retained.

30–44 days: ~50% cancellation fee.

15–29 days: ~75% cancellation fee.

0–14 days/no-show: No refund.

4.3 Company/Third-Party Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel/postpone tours due to operational reasons or force majeure.

Refunds in such cases limited to recoverable amounts from suppliers.

No liability for consequential losses (flights, visas, etc.).
4.4 Third-Party Bookings

Flights: Airline policies apply; most fares are non-refundable.

Hotels: Hotel policies apply; many are non-refundable close to check-in.

Activities/Excursions: Often 100% non-refundable.
4.5 Special Notes

Travel Insurance: Strongly recommended for unforeseen events.

Customer Responsibility: Ensuring valid passports, visas, and documents is your responsibility.

Group Bookings: Cancellations may affect group pricing; additional costs may apply.

Peak Season: Suppliers may impose 100% cancellation charges regardless of notice.

Partial Use: No refunds for unused services if you leave the tour or skip activities.
5. Amendments and Changes

Customer-Initiated Changes: May incur fees, subject to availability.

Certain changes may be treated as cancellations.

Company-Initiated Changes: If significant, you may cancel for a refund; minor changes do not qualify for refunds.
6. Force Majeure

No liability for cancellations due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.).

Refunds limited to amounts recovered from suppliers.

We may offer rescheduling or credits instead of refunds.
7. Refund Procedure

Submit refund requests in writing with booking details.

Submission does not guarantee approval; eligibility will be verified.

We will notify you of approval/decline within 5–15 working days.

Chargebacks without attempting resolution will be contested.

No refund requests will be entertained outside this Policy.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed by Indian laws, with exclusive jurisdiction in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu courts. By accepting this Policy, you waive objections to this jurisdiction.

By booking with Tripate.com, you confirm understanding and acceptance of this Cancellation and Refund Policy, including strict no-refund conditions for certain services and the financial implications of cancellations.
